Good instrument for beginner, basic electronic testing on reasonable price. Some special measuring technique: Frequency, capacity and automatic scaling :) so like it. The one thing, what is not too good, it is not calibrated correctly. So the test result shows some slip, I.e. if you want to test DC voltage, you just connect the measure cable and now shows 0.26mV instead of zero. This instrument arrived together a capacitor pack. I'm tried the device with 6,8uF capacitor, what shows 5. I get the device in a cardboard box, so there is no case or holder for it.

Vert You cannot test if the calibration is correct based on it showing 0.26mV when nothing is connected. It is probably a real reading of small amounts of static electricity. If you touch each of the probes to each other, however then it should read 0mVRegarding the capacitor test electrolytic capacitors can vary by 20% or more and still be within their specs. 6.8uF -20% = 5.44uF and maybe the capacitor is old and lost a bit of capacity, in that case 5uF might be a correct reading.
