I ordered three of these, used two of them to replace a glass luminescent tube in my desk lamp. It did fit well into the space, I used screws to mount them to a metal reflector so it works as a heat sink too. The LED module alone produces not so much heat, it's noticable warm, but not hot. I'm using my other module without any extra heat sink as a portable light, connecting it to a 3S Lipo battery.
