The station came well protected, the wand not really, came a little broken. Everything works, the PCB inside the station have good solder joints, the aluminium case dont have scratchs and is really solid, but the solder joints in GX16 wand connector is a crime! Dont use it before checking! It runs 240AC Volts! YOU MUST FIX and protect with heatshrink before using it! Inside the wand, the solder joints in the small pcb are not perfect too. Is better fix them and protect with UV glue or hot glue, because

Got one that died on me after ten minutes, and electrocuted me when I tried to fix it because I forgot to unplug it and there's unchecked mains voltage up to the resistive element. I then got a replacement and it works great, except when it trips the safety circuit breaker of my house. 10/10 chink engineering, if you want something even remotely safe look elsewhere.

A good solution with some deficits of the implementation. Positive: - Easy, intuitive interface that can be discovered and understood without a manual. - Fast and rather precise control of temperatures. - A rather standard turbine-based Fan on a socket that can be easily replaced. - Despite of a small turbine it i has a decent air pressure that is more than enough for all SMD work. very good heater. good and fast temperature control and many advanced functions. Cools down automatically if the heater is not used and put into the magnetic holder.

One pin of the screw-in connector came bent, I just straightened it up with a screwdriver and everything seems to be working fine now. Great value for monney.

well... i was happy in first month and just yesterday my heat sensor in the gun popped and basically it's useless now...

Definitely a favorite in my tool army, just a little sad that the power button is on the back of the box

Item came quickly but with the wrong plug. I had ordered with the US plug but received a European style plug.

Arrived quick and works very well. Small footprint on my desk too.
