The AM antenna was missing two wires that should go to the switches, so I did it myself to get it working. The CB antenna has the wrong SMA connector, but I was able to use an adapter.

This is a very nice and easy radio to use, I've been programming it with ease. It is a well made unit and feels strong in the hand. Not only do you get a very good uhf/vhf (rx/tx) radio but you also have a good scanner for usb, lsb, cw, sw, lw and commercial radio. I have had lots of 2 meter and 70 cm contacts with this handheld and the receive is very good and the reports I get about the transmit audio are excellent. It takes a bit of time to make its way to England but it's worth the wait. Comes well packed and with no hidden costs. I'm one happy customer. Many thanks Banggood.
