Well made and obviously very sturdy. It was smaller than I expected but that is good. I purchased the grey one. Finish was good and looks great. It does have some heft to it but if I wanted something light weight I would have purchased a plastic one. This one however will stand up to a lot of abuse. If you want to know how loud it is I can send pictures of the bruises I got from the wife when I tested it in the house. Would recommend buying the whistle, just not blowing it in the house.

this whistle is really loud! :) I thought I have a loud whistle but this one is so loud, you shouldnt whistle in closed spaces, like an apartment. main use will be hiking and as a rescue device for motorcycle.

not sure if i got a fauilty unit or not but i have to blow very hard to make any noise and it not that loud i did hook my air compresser up to it to get some air going and still not that loud so i have to rate a 2 star no where near 150db

This thing is so loud. Really great for the money! At this price I just ordered it to play around with and ended up giving it to the wife to put on her key chain. It will make your ears ring...
