I did not see the important sentence "Can be used, but do not exactly match, need to modify, DIY" in the product description. So first I was disappointed, because it did not fit the H501S radio control. BUT on the other hand the opening/closing mechanism is really fine and I don't know an alternative. So I attached the anti-glare shield with a bit of white hot glue. Not beautiful, but it works fine! And what is more I could still use the lanyard though it fits tight now.

This is not the right transmitter hood shade. There is a difference in the clamping pin. This can be seen in the photos, who I send you.
