Works as expected for a 16x2 character LCD. While it's capable of running off of 3.3v, I would recommend using 5v. On Arduino I'm using the LiquidCrystal_I2C library by Frank de Brabander. Requires the following to initialize the display but otherwise works almost the same as the LiquidCrystal library (I've noticed this info is hard to find and a little inconsistent): LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x27,16,2); lcd.init(); lcd.backlight(); (initializes with the backlight off)
