These are a great teaching aid clock, BUT - There is an inherent flaw in the programming / RTC or both. For months that have "double digits", the flaw shows up. If the power goes out for any length of time, when restored, the first digit (if it was supposed to be a 1) will revert back to "0". You will need to go through the setup procedure again to tell it month 10, 11, or 12. I had this problem with about (4) of them, so either there is a bad run of chips, or there is a bug in the programming. Either way, beware of the error.

  • KevinHeron i tried it,but didn't met the problem you mentioned.maybe you could check the CR1220 or the power supply wether if 5V.
