These are quite interesting, it's probably the absolute cheapest way to build a web- or security cam at the moment. I integrated mine into Synology Surveillance Station. The performance when doing an mpeg stream is not stellar so it only does 4 fps or so, but it's useable! No reverse polarity protection though, I toasted my first one...

These are great little camera modules easy to setup only downside is it doesn't include it's an onboard USB but not a major problem especially at the price
