Easy to make. The preformed secondary coil is just soldered in at one end (remember to scrape off the insulation). I just used 1 loop of primary coil. Didn't work at first until I wound it the opposite way to the pictures above. Maybe it depends on the way round you put the secondary coil in. I used a hot glue gun to stick that down. I get a small plasma stream from the end of the free wire. Not like the pictures - perhaps you need to do something else to get that effect.
