I made this kit in an hour or so taking my time following the instructions linked in the item page. The bottom plate didn't seem to transmit power to the "B" board of the tree. So I linked the power source from the "A" board and it works. The green LEDs on the "B" board seem dimmer than the rest, maybe I messed up a connection or resistor? Fun kit, all parts were there and working. The instructions were good enough. Perhaps I'll link my timelapse video of building it soon.

Did you get the resistors in the right locations? I could imagine if a 10K got mixed with a 1K the current would be lower and the LEDs dimmer.
