This cable is for firmware updates and NOT for flight simulator use. It is a simple single cable solution that does not require additional adapters to connect your Flysky to your PC. For Flight simulator cable see Banggood product ID:1047126. The attached photo shows the two different cables side by side. They look the same but don't work the same. I do recommend both cables.

I used this to upgrade my fs-i6 to 10 channels w/ up to 5s voltage alarm and RSSI. I downloaded the latest version of benb0jangles FlySky-i6-Mod. There are alot of videos on it.I did have trouble getting it to communicate with the 10ch_MOD_i6_Programmer. The first thing you have to do is open your device manager then plug in the cable. you will see the ports icon pop up and it will tell you what com port it is on (COM4 in my case). unplug the cable from computer. Open the 10ch_MOD_i6_Programmer, enter update firmware mode on transmitter, plug cable into transmitter and computer. Select the com port you found earlier, click open port and it should show "FLY-SKY i6 xxx" in the firmware version box. Then click program and your done. Restart the transmitter and set it up how you like it.

What about a cable that does what it says to do, I bought it on purpose And fortunately it works. it only serves to update the remote control and not for anything else, it does not write because it is not a pen, it does not fly because it does not have wings, but it connects perfectly between remote control and PC! the materials are not top quality but I don't have to wear it around my neck to show off in an evening...

che dire un cavo che fa quello che dice di fare, l'ho comprato apposta E fortunatamente funziona. serve solo per aggiornare il telecomando e non per altro,non scrive perché non è una penna, non vola perché non ha le ali , ma si collega perfettamente tra telecomando e PC! i materiali non sono di prima qualità ma non lo devo mettere al collo da sfoggiare in una serata...

Description is correct. The cable works perfect and it's ONLY for firmware update, NOT for simulator connection, so be aware of that.

A decent quality cable, does what it is supposed to do. Product description is as described in the shop. Very reasonable price if you ask me. And no, it's not mend for use with simulators in case you were wondering.
