Good value for the price but item has no instructions. If you do NOT have a basic understanding of electronics and various components I would not recommend this kit. If, however you have some level of basic electronics, i.e. resistors, capacitors, and ICs, then this kit, although a bit challenging, can be fun. Another problem with the lack of instructions is you'll have no way of knowing how to set up the various settings. There are some instructions on the Internet but you'll have to search
