In use Item found to be somewhat fiddly to adjust and secure. However once firmly attached and tightened up with thumb screw, there is no discernable movement noted. The only real issue I had with it concerns the fact that the device was not able to clamp over the thick rear end of my particular Makita trim saw. I resolved this issue by extending the reach of hook by removing the screwed down block assembly and inserting a couple of washers before reassembling it. This was not something I was expecting to have to do but it did resolve the problem. With consideration to these issues I am still happy to score this product with 4 stars, on account of its usefulness, and the fact that this is the still the best quality, for this type of device, that Ive seen.
