It looks like rubbish. Magnet are so week that falls apart. Very bad quality. Lost money. Highly not recommend

pqmain You don't seem to understand the design. The light and the metal plate should be fixed to a hard surface, allowing the battery unit to be easily removed for charging and secured in place during use. The magnets are only there to hold the battery unit onto the metal bracket, and to pull the battery unit towards the light to make electrical contact. It works well, when used as designed. We use one of these portably, too, by fixing the light and metal bracket to a wooden ruler - works perfectly!
