Fantastic little radio and still playing around with it at the moment. I have no clue about handheld radios so I am trying to educate myself at the moment. I bought them specifically for camping trips where there's no signal but I tried them around my neighbourhood (about 1mile in built up area) and they work well once I figured out what frequencies I can use and found 1 that had less interference. There are 8 free frequencies in the UK that you can use. Happy with them so far.
