Not very good packaging for shipping however since lamp is plastic it survived. This is a replacement purchase for a lamp I bought previously. The original lamp only lasted 2yrs, far less than the 10,000hr expected. I have one in another location that is still operating as it should, hopefully it will provide better service. They work as described, on at dusk & off at dawn and can be used in any style lamp fixture you can screw this into. Richard USA
