Package was poorly packed and suffered damage on arrival. Luckily there was no damage to the instrument itself. I found the instrument to be everything I needed. Buttons were firm when pressed. All ranges working as expected. The unit has a protective cover that limits damage when dropped. Only found one negative. There is a stand which allows the unit to stand at an angle. I found I had to use a screwdriver to pull the stand out as the cut away did not have enough to use my finger. For the price I paid I still will give the unit 5 stars
