Work well but does not have battery discharge protection. I exploded one already as I was setting it up the input wire touch and the mosfet and resistor went up in smoke. Be careful when installing I highly suggest a protection diode at the output.

ScottyPower Where would you place the protection so it does not discharge at night as which diode would you use???

Patrick Any standard diode of at least an amp would work, and I would believe at the solar panel would be the best place since the controller need to read battery voltage when charging. Other option would be to build a little circuit that control a relay to the battery to disconnect it when the solar panel is not producing power. Cheers!
