Very nice little fairy strings to use in DYI projects. The LED's will light from a very low voltage onwards. If you add some current limiting resistors in-line, you can power them from any generic 3-6V power supply or on a Li-Ion battery. They also work with solar panels as power source :) With the current limiting resistors in line, I get them to light decently at 3.3 volts and they only consume 7mA. Same setup at 5 volts consumes 24mA so they'll have a very good runtime on batteries!
