This is realy a nice LED-string. But it's not for 12 volt: that would burn the LED's. I put a constant current of 300mA through it, and that gave a voltage of 3.27V. I put the whole string in a small glass jar, and it didn't get warm, so I think the current could be made higher, maybe up to 1 ampere (that would be 10mA per LED). But at 300mA the LED's were bright enough for me. I am happy with this string.
